Everyday heroes walk our streets each day. Instead of capes, they sometimes were aprons, carry paint brushes and smile often. They are the reason why programming happens for seniors, kids have nutritious meals and flowers come up every Spring.

Meet some of our community's heroes below. 

Different organizations will open their doors to welcome people and learn more about their services. This is geared to people who might need their service or people who want to volunteer with the organization. There will be staff to answer your questions, volunteers to share their experiences and a chance for you to see what the space looks and feels like.

Healthcare & Settlement Services

While there are currently no local family physicians accepting new patients, you can join the voluntary Health Care Connect list to indicate your interest in a local doctor. There are also various healthcare programs available, including after-hours care, diabetes support, smoking cessation programs, and workshops.
