Alternate Shuttle Time on Canada Day (Monday, July 1)

Due to the Canada Day celebrations happening in Elora earlier in the day on Monday, July 1, the Downtown Elora & Fergus Shuttle bus will start at 1:00 pm instead of 11:00 am. All shuttle stops and times remain the same. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The Township of Centre Wellington's Corporate Communications serves as the hub of connection, information dissemination, and engagement within the community. The primary goal is to foster transparency, build trust, and amplify the municipalities voice across diverse channels.

The department orchestrates strategic communication initiatives to ensure residents and the broader public are informed and engaged. Responsibilities of the department encompass a wide array of functions, including media relations, internal and external communications, public affairs, crisis management, and digital outreach.

Through press releases, newsletters, social media platforms, and the municipality website(s), the department disseminates timely and relevant information on civic matters, initiatives, events, and policies - ensuring coherence in messaging across all platforms.
