Ward 5

Councillor Bronwynne Wilton

As a lifelong resident of Centre Wellington, Bronwynne is proud to call this community home. She and her husband Pierre raised three children (now adults!) in Centre Wellington and both enjoyed several years of volunteering for various local sports organizations.

Bronwynne holds 3 degrees from the University of Guelph; a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture, a Masters of Science in Rural Planning/Landscape Architecture, and a PhD in Rural Studies. Throughout her education, there have been common threads of sustainability, agriculture, and rural community vitality which she looks forward to bringing to her work as a Councillor.

In addition to her role as Councillor, Bronwynne owns and operates her own consulting firm, Wilton Consulting Group, which is focused on the agriculture and agri-food sector. She and her team work with a variety of clients, from local agricultural societies, to municipalities, farm organizations, provincial governments and the federal government.

Bronwynne has a wide variety of interests that are relevant to Centre Wellington including community engagement, climate change, active transportation, parks and recreation, farmland protection, smart growth, and environmental stewardship.

Councillor Wilton serves on the following external committees:
