Councillor Lisa MacDonald

Lisa is proud to serve on the Centre Wellington Council as the Ward 1 Councillor. Lisa is an accredited board Director( Acc.Dir) with The Chartered Governance Institute of Canada. Lisa holds Graduate diploma in Human Resources Management, past education in Chemical Engineering Technology, and a Certificate from Schulich School of Business in CAO leadership. Lisa specializes in labour relations, and organization culture. Lisa is a member of the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators and holds the Certificate from Osgoode/York University in Administration of Boards, Tribunals and Commissions. Lisa currently serves on the Economic Development Committee, QMS and Infrastructure committee, Safe communities Wellington County appointed by Council 2022-2026.

Lisa has held past provincial appointments as the Vice-Chair Wellington County Police Services Board, Vice -Chair of Ontario Association of Police Services Boards, and a member of the Ontario Police Arbitration Commission.  Lisa’s passion for volunteering serves a member of the Fergus-Elora Rotary. In addition, Lisa serves on the Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation board, and the Governance committee of the Kitchener Waterloo Figure Skating Club.

Lastly, Lisa lives with her family in Elora Ontario.
